This Privacy Policy explains how Jen + Ian Wedding Coordination (“we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through this website. We operate under British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
What Information We Collect
When you reach out through our contact form, we collect:
- Contact form data: your name, your partner’s name (if provided), email address, wedding date, venue (if provided), guest count, package interest, booking stage, and any additional message
- Log data: IP addresses retained briefly in server and CDN access logs
- Analytics data: anonymized page view and session data (only with your consent)
We understand that wedding inquiries often include personal details (venue preferences, guest counts, and timelines). We treat this information with care and use it only to respond to your inquiry.
How We Use Your Information
Information you submit is used to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a client, to coordinate your wedding services. We do not use your personal information for unrelated marketing, and we do not sell your data.
Data Subprocessors
We rely on the following third-party services, each of which may process personal data at infrastructure outside British Columbia, primarily in the United States:
- Cloudflare - website hosting, CDN, DDoS protection, and form protection via Cloudflare Turnstile. Cloudflare processes request data including IP addresses at US and international edge nodes. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
- Google Analytics 4 - optional website analytics, active only with your consent. See policies.google.com.
- Google Workspace - email delivery for contact-form submissions. Contact form submissions are routed through Google’s email infrastructure. See policies.google.com.
As required under BC PIPA, we disclose that your personal information may be processed or stored outside of British Columbia, primarily in the United States, by the subprocessors listed above.
Retention
